Butler-Tarkington MLK 5K hosted by BTNA

The Butler-Tarkington MLK 5K is a 5K fun run and walk through the historic Butler-Tarkington neighborhood. The proceeds, including registration fees and sponsorships, will go toward supporting the launch of a new BTNA Community Grant Initiative. Sponsors of this event include Butler University, Meridian Street United Methodist Church, MHS Indiana, 24 Indianapolis, and the Lavengood Team with F.C. Tucker Realty.

Runners will assemble inside the MLK Community Center at 40th and Illinois prior to the kickoff of the run scheduled for 9:30 a.m. The run will process through all parts of the neighborhood before arriving back at the MLK Center for hot cocoa and other snacks.
